Ever wondered what goes on inside Men in Sheds MK? This September is your chance to come and have a look!
We’ll be opening our doors as part of the Milton Keynes Heritage Open Weekend 2026, welcoming visitors to meet our members, explore our workshops and discover some of the things we make, repair and get involved with.
Our Open Weekend takes place on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September, from 10am until 4pm, at our workshop on Burners Lane in Kiln Farm. Entry is completely free.
More than just a workshop
Men in Sheds MK brings people together through making, repairing, learning and sharing practical skills.
Our members have an enormous range of interests and experience, and the Shed provides somewhere to work on projects, learn from each other, have a cup of tea and enjoy some good company.
During the weekend you’ll be able to tour our workshop facilities, meet members and volunteers, see some of our latest projects and watch activities and demonstrations. There will also be games and prizes, handmade items for sale and, naturally, plenty of tea and coffee.
You don’t need to be interested in joining Men in Sheds to visit. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re coming on your own, bringing the family, interested in practical skills, or simply curious about what happens behind our doors.
